CSE Head of Department Dr. Abdullah Al-Ali organized a meeting with CSE students on Wednesday 27 January 2021 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. The aim was to make the students aware of whom to contact for assistance. He clarified the role of the Head of Department, the Program Coordinators and the Academic Advisers. Also, he reminded the students about the importance of following their study plan for timely graduation. Additionally, he highlighted the important differences between Computer Engineering and Computer Science programs, possible specializations, and career opportunities.
Furthermore, the new CSE News & Events Blog and CSE Wiki (FAQ, forms, policies) were demonstrated to the attendees.
Finally, Dr. Abdulla along with the program coordinators discussed and answered the students’ questions particularly related to the internship, the new CS Cyber Security concentration, new Engineering Building, and other academic matters. You can download the meeting presentation slides below:
